Awards
The company debuted in Slow Wine in 2010 with the 2007 vintage which was immediately well received with the “Best daily wine” award. The recognition is repeated for the Chianti Rufina vintage 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
In 2015, the company entered the Gambero Rosso guide with the 2011 vintage and the 2011 reserve with excellent reviews. In the 2020 guide Il Balzo reaches the finals with the Chianti Rufina Riserva 2015 for the prestigious ‘tre bicchieri rossi.’ It is inserted into the guide with ‘Two glasses.’
